Often corporate events are a once-a-year opportunity to showcase to your staff and affiliates, what is happening in your business and celebrate successes.
High profile awards events or conferences can take months to plan and can involve Event professionals, conference venue managers and internal staff to ensure the occasion goes off without a single glitch. Investing in an experienced Emcee (MC) or Compere will make a big difference at your event.

What is an Emcee (MC)?
An Emcee or MC is a Master of Ceremonies, the role is pivotal to the success of any event as they carry out several duties to create and maintain a professional occasion. The role can also be called Event host, Event Compare or Event Facilitator.
What should you expect from your MC?
If you have booked an MC for your event, they will set the tone, some event planners use internal members of the team, but they are not experts in hosting corporate events.
A professional MC/Event Host will bring an energy and drive to an event, they may be an entertainer or known personality and bring charisma and add their own personality or character to the proceedings.
A good MC will keep to the proceedings on time, work to a tight agenda and be able to adapt to unexpected changes on the night or day of the event.
An event host/MC joins all the dots in an event, making sure the hosts key messages are woven into the script and the entertainment.
